It has been four years since Lions Clubs International District 308 B3 Malaysia 国际狮子会马来西亚 308 B3 区 began its journey in July 2023. Congratulations to District Governor Yew Siew Kien and District Cabinet Team 2026-2027 on a great start and heartfelt appreciation to Immediate Past District Governor Wong Sai Kee for his dedication and excellent work over the past year 2025-2026. As the first District Governor of 308 B3, it is truly meaningful to see our young District continue to grow from strength to amazing impact.

Well done to Organising Chairperson Region Chairperson Phil Koh and the entire team for a memorable celebration. A particularly thoughtful touch was the goodie bag featuring the four District Governors’ themes since 2023–2024, a simple but meaningful reminder of the journey we have built together.

Proud to witness PID Jeff Huang being appointed as the new LCIF Board of Trustees Appointee, one of only eight Presidential Appointees appointed by each International President annually. I had the privilege of learning from and working with PID Jeff during my year as District Governor in 2023-2024 and we were honoured to have him witness the historic Establishment Ceremony of District 308 B3 back then. His dedication to service continues to inspire many of us. Congratulations, PID Jeff, and wishing you every success in this new role!

Day 5 of ended on a high note! 🌏🥋 Started the morning with an unforgettable Tai Chi session alongside Lions and Leos from all six continents, proudly setting a new world record together. Then it was time for the Luncheon and traditional International Officers Banner Exchange, celebrating our global friendship, before wrapping up with the post convention Board Meeting, honouring our outgoing second-year directors and capturing one last group photo with the new Leo-Lion Board Liaisons. A perfect way to close an incredible week of service, leadership and lifelong friendships. 🦁💙

Thanks Leo-Lion Soyum Shah and Leo-Lion Ritwik Bhawsinghka for their wonderful service for year 2025-2026. Note, we do have the future Leo-Lion Board Liaison in making joining us this round. 🤣

Day 4 of = full speed ahead! 🚀 Had the opportunity to co-present an AI in Marketing seminar, while VDG Simon Tan inspired participants with an anti-drug awareness session and MD 308 Leo of the Year Wong Wei Jin shared great insights on connecting with the next generation. We then welcomed International President 2026–2027 Mark S. Lyon and Lyn Lyon during the Closing Plenary as we embrace the new Presidential message, Rooted in Service. Wrapped up the day with the spectacular Dragon Night Chinese Reception, joined by more than 2,000 Lions, before ending the convention tradition with a wonderful Leo-Lion Board Liaison reunion. What an unforgettable ! 🌏🦁

Day 3 of was all about celebrating success and reconnecting! 🎉 Congratulations to District Governor 2025-2026 Dato’ Winnie Lee from LCI District 308-A2 on receiving the Outstanding District Award and so proud to see many of my Group 22 District Governors earn the Strong Finish Award. What a way to wrap up an amazing year! Added a few insightful seminars, plenty of reunions with friends from around the world, and a wonderful evening at the China Reception. Another memorable day of learning, friendship and celebrating what we can achieve together. 🌏🦁
