From discovering the legend of Changโ€™e and exploring the history of mooncakes to getting creative with festival-themed art and craft, every activity brought new opportunities to learn and explore.

Through storytelling, mooncake-making, traditional festival games, and hands-on activities, our children learned about Chinese traditions, developed their creativity, and discovered the importance of family, sharing, and togetherness.

During our Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, our little learners had fun shooting the sun, explored the story behind the festival, and discovered how the moon can appear in different shapes and phases. ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฅฎ

Through stories, games and hands-on experiences, they were learning about a beautiful tradition while simply enjoying being children โ€” curious, playful and excited to discover something new.

One day, they may not remember every detail of what they learned.

๐ŸŒ Earthquake Safety Drill | Learning to Stay Safe

Following yesterdayโ€™s magnitude 4.4 earthquake off the coast of Batu Pahat, our teachers took the opportunity to turn a real-life experience into an important learning moment for our children.

Today, we conducted a simple earthquake safety drill to help our little ones learn what to do if they ever feel the ground or building shaking.

The children practised staying calm, quickly getting under a table and protecting their heads from falling objects. Once the shaking stopped, they learnt to cover their heads and move together with their teachers to a safe, open area. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Our teachers also carried out headcounts along the way to make sure every child was safe and accounted for.

It may be just a short drill, but these little moments help children build confidence and learn how to respond calmly when it matters. โค๏ธ

Today, our 4-year-olds had the chance to discover the beauty of Indian Rangoli art through a fun and hands-on creative activity. ๐ŸŒˆ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

With little hands carefully choosing colours, shapes and patterns, each child created their own unique Rangoli. Beyond the colourful artwork, it was lovely to see them take their time, make their own choices and feel proud of what they created. ๐Ÿฅฐ

For us, these little moments matter. โค๏ธ
When children are given the freedom to create, explore, and express themselves, they are not only making artโ€”they are building confidence, patience, and pride in their own ideas.
