上周五，孩子们化身小小艺术家，通过喷、刷、印、拓等不同方式，让植物与水彩在画纸上留下独一无二的痕迹。

没有规定的画法，也没有标准答案，孩子们自由探索颜色、形状与纹理，在玩乐中感受艺术，在触摸与尝试中发现大自然的美✨

—— 小蛇🐍，你今天吃了什么颜色的食物呀？——

在《奇妙绘本屋》里，宝贝们跟着绘本《好饿的小蛇》一起踏上了美味的色彩大冒险！😋

为了给孩子们不一样的惊喜，Teacher Hew用纸皮精心制作了绘本里的各种美食——有苹果🍎、菠萝🍍、饭团🍙、葡萄🍇 和香蕉🍌。每个食物上面都贴着密封袋，就等宝贝们来给它们“穿上漂亮的颜色”！🌈

宝贝们随机抽一个食物后，要先当个“小小侦探”观察颜色，再找出相对应的颜料。比如拿到苹果🍎，就要准确找出红色🔴的颜料！

把颜料挤进密封袋后，重头戏来啦！宝贝们用小手轻轻按压、推一推、揉一揉，看着颜料一点点把整个食物填满，大家都直呼“好神奇”！👏✨

玩着玩着，原本白白的食物瞬间变得五彩缤纷！这种感官小游戏不仅能让宝贝自然记住颜色与食物的配对，还在不知不觉中悄悄锻炼了手部小肌肉和手眼协调呢！😆💕 好好玩呀！

今天的华文课，我们又认识了新的笔画啦！✨
这一次，宝贝们要认识的新朋友就是——「竖」！

「竖」就像一支小铅笔一样，直直地站着哦！✏️📏

老师准备了各种不同的华语生字，让宝贝们睁大眼睛 👀，仔细观察，在一个个生字中寻找藏起来的「竖」！

找到以后，拿起五颜六色的贴纸 🎨，把贴纸准确地贴在「竖」上，为小小笔画穿上漂亮的彩色新衣裳！🌈✨

通过 「找一找、贴一贴」 的趣味活动，孩子们在游戏中认识笔画、加深记忆，同时也锻炼了视觉辨识力、专注力和手指精细动作。🧠🖐🏻👏🏻

🌻 PBL 角落区成果展

上周五，我们迎来了五岁与六岁孩子们历时三个月的 PBL 角落区成果展！✨ 这不只是一次成果展示，更是一场属于孩子们的学习旅程🌱

在过去三个月里，孩子们走进不同的学习角落——
🌿 绿植区
🐣 养殖区
🧩 益智区
📚 语文区
🎨 美术区
🔬 STEAM 区

从一开始的好奇与尝试，到后来主动观察、讨论、记录、创作，并一起寻找解决问题的方法，孩子们在一次次探索中，慢慢累积属于自己的学习经验。

而在成果展当天，孩子们也勇敢地站上台，展示自己亲手制作的海报，并与大家分享小组的学习成果👏✨

我们看见的，不只是一个个完成的作品，而是孩子们在过程中所培养的 自信、表达、合作、思考与解决问题的能力❤️

更珍贵的是，这些成果并不是老师替孩子完成的，而是在老师们的引导、提问、鼓励与陪伴下，由孩子们一步一步完成。

🌱 让孩子成为学习的主人，是 PBL 最珍贵的意义。

特别感谢所有老师们，在这三个月里的耐心、坚持与用心。愿意相信孩子、给孩子空间去尝试，也陪着他们把一个个「不知道怎么做」的想法，慢慢变成「我做到了」的成果💛

—— Welcome to Teacher Cassie’s Supermarket! 🛒🍔 Orders Up! ——

Food is always the best way to start a conversation! Today, our 4-year-olds dove into a yummy new topic in Cambridge English: My Favorite Foods. Before the mission began, the kids excitedly shared their top picks, shouting out everything from blueberries to French fries! 🍟🫐✨

To give them a real-life experience, Teacher Cassie turned our classroom into a lively "Grocery Day" supermarket! Taking turns as customers and shopkeepers, our little shoppers used their shopping lists to order confidently, asking: “Can I have a burger, please?” 🍔💬 The shopkeepers had to listen carefully to fulfill the orders with the correct food items.

This immersive role-play created a comfortable platform for our kids to speak up naturally, empowering even our shyest learners to express themselves with big smiles and growing confidence. Teacher Cassie is beyond proud of our smart little shoppers and helpful shopkeepers today! 🚀✨

🌻 “Art & Aesthetic Education in Early Childhood” Workshop | Seeing Beauty Through Children’s Eyes

Last Saturday, we were truly honoured to welcome Teacher Yoyo, one of the founders of Babaiola Preschool and Nomos Art Center, to Himawari for an inspiring session on “Art & Aesthetic Education in Early Childhood.” 🎨🌱

The session was not simply about understanding what “beauty” means. More importantly, it encouraged us to pause and reflect:

💭 What does beauty look like through a child’s eyes?
👀 Are we truly seeing what children see?
🌱 How can we create more space for children to explore, experience and express themselves?

Aesthetic education is not simply about creating a “beautiful” artwork.
It is about giving children the freedom to observe, feel, explore and express their own ideas. ✨

A little leaf 🍃, a small stone 🪨, a piece of coloured paper 🌈, or even a simple line drawn by a child can become a meaningful way for them to explore the world and express themselves.

When we slow down and stop telling children what “beauty” should look like, we give them the freedom to discover beauty in their own unique way. 🌱🎨

May the seeds planted last Saturday continue to grow and flourish in every teacher’s heart. 🌻

May we carry with us a pair of eyes that see beyond the artwork — eyes that truly see the child, and walk alongside them as they discover the beauty in the world around them. 💛

—— The Cutest Emotion Camera 📷 ——

In Teacher Cassie’s class, understanding emotions begins with looking into the mirror! Today, our 3-year-olds kicked off our Cambridge English lesson by exploring their own happy and sad faces in the mirror, while sharing what makes their little hearts feel joyful or down. 🪞✨

Then, the real fun began with our "Emotion Camera" game! The children took turns stepping up as mini actors, striking different emotional poses based on Teacher Cassie’s prompts, while their friends guessed the emotion! From radiant smiles to super cute pouts, the classroom was filled with giggles and bright energy! 📸🎭

Helping 3-year-olds recognize, express, and identify emotions in English is such a special milestone for their social-emotional growth. Teacher Cassie was so amazed by how naturally and boldly everyone participated today. Super proud of our expressive little stars! 🚀✨

🌟 Multisensory Learning | Letter X ✨

📦 Box Crawling Adventure!

Our little explorers had an exciting time during our “Box Crawl for Letter X” activity! 🤩 They crawled through a tunnel made of large cardboard boxes before racing to the finish line to search for the correct Letter X card and proudly say it aloud! 🗣️❌

This fun-filled activity combines movement with learning, helping children reinforce their recognition of Letter X while developing their:

🌈 Colour Swap Run × Parachute Play 🌈

Learning becomes even more meaningful when children are having fun! 💛

Today, our little learners enjoyed an exciting Colour Swap Run and Parachute Play session. As they listened carefully to instructions, identified colours, and quickly switched places, they were developing their listening skills, focus, quick thinking, and reaction time🌻

The fun continued as everyone worked together to lift, shake, and wave the colourful parachute. Through teamwork, laughter, and movement, the children experienced the joy of learning while building meaningful friendships🧑‍🤝‍🧑

At HIMAWARI🏫 we believe that every game is an opportunity to learn. Through hands-on experiences and joyful play, children develop essential life skills while creating wonderful childhood memories.
