Soil is all around us, and different types of soil have unique characteristics that help plants grow and support life.
Through fun hands-on activities and simple experiments, the children will explore the three main types of soil: sand, loam, and clay, while discovering how each one feels, looks, and works.

During this chapter, children will:

🥚🥪 DIY tastes better! 😋💛

Our little chefs had an egg-citing time making their own Egg Mayo Sandwiches! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

They pressed the hard-boiled eggs, mixed in the mayonnaise, and spread the tasty egg mayo onto their bread all by themselves. 🍞✨

Nothing beats the joy of making your own food. And the best part? Every bite was extra yummy because they made it with their own little hands! 🥰💕

Learning, creating, and enjoying delicious food together. What a wonderful day! ❤️

🌳✨ A Tree Through the Four Seasons! 🌸☀️🍂❄️

This week, our little artists explored the beauty of nature through our Four Seasons Tree art and craft activity! 🎨🥰
From the colourful flowers of Spring 🌸, the lush green leaves of Summer 🌿, the falling golden leaves of Autumn 🍂, to the snowy branches of Winter ❄️☃️ our children discovered how trees and nature change throughout the year.

But there's a little twist --) our artwork is also a puzzle! 🧩 Children worked on each part of the tree, colouring and decorating their own section to represent Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter. Once all the pieces were completed, the children had to put the four pieces together to form one beautiful Four Seasons Tree! 🌳✨

Through this activity, our children learned about the changes in nature throughout the year while developing their fine motor skills, creativity, colour recognition, problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and teamwork. 🤲🏻🧠🎨

It was wonderful to see how each individual piece became an important part of the bigger picture. 💕 Just like a puzzle, every little piece matters! 🧩🌈

🐱💛 National Kitten Day 💛🐱

Our little animal lovers celebrated National Kitten Day by creating adorable and colourful kitten crafts! 🎨✨

Using coloured paper and fun craft materials, the children designed their own cute kittens while learning about how to care for these playful and lovable pets. 🐾❤️

Through this hands-on activity, children developed:
🖍️ Fine motor skills through cutting, gluing, and decorating
🎨 Creativity and self-expression
🐱 Knowledge about kittens and the importance of being kind and caring towards animals
🤝 Patience and concentration while completing their artwork

The classroom was filled with laughter, creativity, and lots of happy smiles as the children proudly showed off their purr-fect kitten creations! 🥰

🍌🍉 This week, our little kids transformed into Fruit Ninjas! 🥷
Our young learners had a wonderful hands-on sensory experience as they explored a variety of fruits. They learned to identify different fruits, 👀 observed their colours and shapes, 👃smelled their unique aromas, and 😋 tasted each one with excitement and curiosity.

Activities like these help children develop their observation skills 🕵🏻 vocabulary 💬 sensory awareness 🤗 confidence 💪🏻 and willingness to try new foods. 🍽 Most importantly, learning through play makes every lesson meaningful and memorable. 🌈

We were especially impressed by how focused and serious the children were throughout the activity. 🥰 Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and determination to learn are truly inspiring and remind us that every small discovery is a big step in a child's learning journey. 🌱📚
