📘【Grammar Notes|Adverbs 副词】

Adverbs are the words that make sentences come alive.

They help us understand:

✅ How an action happens
✅ When it happens
✅ How often it happens
✅ To what degree it happens

Easy Memory Rule

Adverbs answer questions like:

❓ How?
❓ When?
❓ How often?
❓ How much?

If a word helps answer one of these questions,
there is a good chance it is an adverb.

💡 Parent Insight

Many children know vocabulary.

Many children know grammar.

But adverbs help children write with more detail, expression, and confidence.

They turn:

📝 "The boy ran."

into

📝 "The boy ran quickly."

A small word can make a big difference.

That's how writing becomes clearer, richer, and more interesting to read.

⭐ Smart Notes. Strong Foundation. Brighter Future.

📘【Grammar Notes|Present Continuous vs Past Continuous】

Many students get confused between these two:

❌ I was playing now
❌ I am playing yesterday

Looks small… but it changes the whole meaning.

Let’s simplify it 👇
🟢 Present Continuous (现在进行时)

👉 Happening NOW

Examples:
✅ I am studying now.
✅ She is reading a book.

Clue words:
👉 now / right now / at the moment

🟣 Past Continuous (过去进行时)

👉 Happening in the PAST (at a specific time)

Examples:
✅ I was studying at 7 p.m.
✅ They were playing yesterday.

Clue words:
👉 yesterday / at that time / while

⭐ Easy Memory Rule:

🟢 NOW → am / is / are + verb-ing
🟣 PAST → was / were + verb-ing

Common Mistakes Students Make:

❌ I am watching TV yesterday
✅ I was watching TV yesterday

❌ She was playing now
✅ She is playing now

💡 Parent Insight

Children are not “weak in grammar” —
they just haven’t learned to connect time + verb form yet.

Once they understand:
👉 WHEN it happens
👉 THEN which tense to use

Everything becomes much clearer.

Good grammar is not about memorising rules.
It’s about understanding time and action.

That’s when English starts to “make sense”. 💡

📘【Simple English Tips for Parents|Possessive Pronouns】

Children often say:

❌ This is my book. This is my book.

But in English, we can make it shorter and clearer:

👉 This book is mine

What does this mean?

“mine”, “yours”, “his”, “hers”
are used to show ownership (who something belongs to)

Simple examples:

This is my bag → This bag is mine
That is your pen → That pen is yours

Key thing to remember:

👉 After “mine / yours / his / hers”
❌ we do NOT add another noun

So:

❌ This is mine book
✅ This book is mine

When children learn this,
they start to:
✅ Speak more clearly
✅ Write shorter and better sentences

Small grammar improvements like this
make a BIG difference over time. 💡

📘【Simple English Tips for Parents|Pronouns】

Sometimes children write like this:

❌ Ali is a boy. Ali is playing.

It sounds a bit repetitive, right?

In English, we use something called a pronoun
to make sentences smoother and easier to read.

👉 Ali is a boy. He is playing.

What is a pronoun?

Simply put:
👉 A word that replaces a name

This helps children:
✅ Avoid repeating the same word
✅ Speak and write more naturally

Easy way to understand:

👦 One boy → He
👧 One girl → She
🐱 One thing/animal → It
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 More than one → They / We

When children understand this,
their sentences immediately sound more “like real English”.

It’s not about using big words —
it’s about using the right ones. 💡

📘【英语语法小课堂|Grammar Notes】
孩子总是分不清:
❌ many water
❌ furnitures
❌ informations

其实很多孩子不是不会英文,
而是还没真正理解:
👉 什么可以数?
👉 什么不能数?

今天一起快速掌握:

⭐ 小技巧 Memory Rule:

✅ Can count → Countable
❌ Cannot count → Uncountable

孩子只要先学会“判断”,
后面的 grammar 就会轻松很多。

英语不是死背,
而是建立“分类逻辑”。

当孩子开始会分类,
写句子就会越来越稳定。💡
