Dalam aktiviti Vocabulary ini, children perlu mengenal pasti different occupations dan memadankannya dengan tools yang betul. Mereka bukan sekadar mengenal gambar, tetapi perlu memahami fungsi sesuatu alat dan pekerjaan yang berkaitan dengannya. 💡

Two activities, two different ways to develop early writing skills! 🥰

🌈 JAWI | Rainbow Writing
Anak-anak berlatih menulis huruf Wau (و), Va (ۏ) dan Ya (ي) berulang kali menggunakan warna yang berbeza.

Setiap colourful stroke membantu mereka mengenali bentuk huruf sambil melatih letter formation, pencil control, fine motor skills & visual recognition. ✍️🖍️

⛵ WRITING | Draw a Boat – Their Way
Untuk Writing p**a, anak-anak diberi satu idea mudah — “Draw a boat!”

Tiada satu design yang perlu dicopy. Mereka bebas menterjemahkan idea boat mengikut imaginasi dan cara mereka sendiri. ✏️💭⛵

Aktiviti ini menggalakkan idea generation, visual-spatial awareness, drawing control, creativity & confidence dalam menghasilkan sesuatu secara independently.

Satu melatih tangan untuk follow the form, satu lagi memberi ruang kepada minda untuk create its own form. 🌈💭

🐟🧂 FROM FISH TO PEKASAM… THEY DID IT THEMSELVES! 👀✨

📚 Science Exhibition 2026 | Ikan Pekasam
📍 Little Caliphs® Taman Banting Baru | KG2(5)

What happens when children turn a Science experiment into something people can actually enjoy? 🥰🐟

For their Science Project, KG2(5) children explored the process of making Ikan Pekasam — from preparing the ingredients to observing the changes that happen during the fermentation process. 🔬🐟🧂

And the best part? They did it themselves, with guidance from their teacher! 👏✨

From the Science behind fermentation to the final product, children had the opportunity to experience the whole process:

🤲 Prepare & create
🧠 Understand fermentation
📦 Prepare the final product
💰 Sell their own product

The learning didn’t stop at the Science table! 🥰

The children also had the opportunity to sell their Ikan Pekasam around the kindergarten, giving them a little taste of how something they created can become a real product. 🐟✨

After weeks of exploring, testing and discovering… yesterday was the moment they finally got to showcase their Science Project! 🥰🔬✨

Through “Aluminium Magic: Heat, Spin & Freeze”, the children explored how materials respond to different conditions and observed the changes that happened along the way. 👀🧪

Remember all those little sneak peeks we shared before? 👀
The testing, the building, the experimenting…

Yesterday, it was finally time to showcase the project! 🥰⛵🔬

KG2(6) explored three different pine wood shapes:

🪵 Flat
🔺 Wide & pointed
➡️ Long & pointed

They tested and observed how the different shapes behaved in water — exploring floating, sinking and movement. 💧⛵

Through this investigation, children practised:

🔍 Observation
🧠 Comparing & analysing
💡 Problem-solving
🧪 Testing & experimenting
🗣️ Explaining their findings

And behind every scientific discovery is a beautiful reminder:

Science is one of the ways we can appreciate the signs of Allah SWT in His creation. 🤍🌿

Terima kasih banyak-banyak kepada semua parents yang sudi berkongsi rezeki dan menyokong Tiger Project anak-anak bersama Zoo Negara. 🥰🧡
