🎉 MAY/JUNE 2026 RESULTS ARE OUT!

This result release feels a little different for me. ❤️

In recent years, I’ve been challenging myself by taking on more 1-to-1 A Level Maths students and this time, every A Level student featured here was personally taught by me in 1-to-1 classes.

For IGCSE Add Maths, I had a much smaller batch this round - around 8 students but I’m still very happy to see their progress and results.

🌟 May/June 2026 Highlights

⭐ A★ — 96 in IGCSE Add Maths
⭐ A★ in Edexcel A Level Maths
👏 Multiple A grades across A Level / IAL Maths
💪 6/7 in IB Mathematics AA HL
📈 C → B improvement in IGCSE Add Maths

Taking on more A Level students was a challenge I set for myself, especially with every student learning 1-to-1 and requiring a different approach.

Seeing their results today, the hard work has paid off. ❤️

And there are many more achievements not featured in this poster.

🎉 IGCSE ADDMATHS OCT/NOV 2025 RESULTS🎉

Okay… this post is **VERY overdue** 😂
Results came out in March, and somehow I delayed posting it all the way until now >.<

But these results definitely deserve to be remembered and celebrated! ❤️

For the October/November 2025 IGCSE AddMaths examination, I’m extremely happy to see another strong batch of results:

🏆 2 A
🔥 5 A’s
👏 6 B’s

That means 7 students achieved A/A, with many others coming very close to an A!

What makes me happiest isn't only the final grade. It’s seeing how much each student improved throughout the journey.

AddMaths is never an easy subject. Some students started confidently, while some struggled with the basics, made countless mistakes, and probably heard me repeat the same thing 100 times 😂

But lesson by lesson, question by question, they improved.

My teaching philosophy has always been simple:

✨ Understand the concept, not just memorise formulas
✨ Learn the exam strategies and recognise question patterns
✨ Master difficult concepts by making them SIMPLE
✨ Build confidence through consistent practice
✨ Never give up on a student who is willing to learn

To all my Oct/Nov 2025 students — CONGRATULATIONS! 🎓❤️

Whether you achieved A*, A, B, or simply improved from where you started, I hope you're proud of how far you've come.

And yes… Mr. Silk finally posted your results after delaying since March 😂😂😂

I don’t know if this is the right thing to say openly, but accepting new AddMaths students very close to the exam period was honestly one of my biggest mistakes previously.

Right now, my group class is already finishing the second last chapter. Recently, I received an enquiry from a student who is currently failing AddMaths and also has very weak Maths basics. In situations like this, I usually advise parents that group class may no longer be suitable, and 1-to-1 lessons would be a better option instead.

Not because we don’t want to help, but because in a group class, the pace and progress of the whole class can be heavily affected when one student is struggling too far behind. It becomes unfair to both sides.

AddMaths has never been an easy subject. If you feel your child is starting to fall behind, please seek help early. Don’t wait until the exam is around the corner and hope for a miracle fix.

A weak foundation takes time to rebuild, and rushing at the very end is painful for both the student and the teacher.

This is designed as a real exam experience, where students can truly test their readiness and feel the pressure before the actual paper. It’s not just about knowing the topics, but understanding how they perform under exam conditions and pressures.

A small, controlled setting, only for our own students — so we can guide them closely, identify gaps, and make sure they walk into the real exam fully prepared and confident.
