A month on, and we’re still smiling from the joy of our Hari Raya celebration at MIGS 🌙✨

It was a heartwarming day as we welcomed our students, parents and the entire MIGS community to come together in the true spirit of Raya. From lively traditional games like Congkak, Batu Seremban and the Bamboo Dance, to the vibrant atmosphere filled with laughter and connection — every moment was one to remember 💚

Our talented MIGS students lit up the stage with their performance of Jong Jong Inai, and we were equally delighted to host our cultural exchange friends from Global Islamic School Jakarta (), who shared a beautiful dance performance with us 🤝🌏

Of course, no Raya celebration is complete without delicious food! From a festive buffet spread to the experience of lemang being freshly bakar right here on our school grounds — it truly brought the kampung spirit to life 🔥🍽️

Creativity took centre stage at our Art Rush event on 24th April 2026 at The Campus 🎨✨

Our Reception and Primary students immersed themselves in a vibrant day of hands-on learning, exploring a variety of art activities and workshops — from painting keychains and leather by , to a hair clip making workshop by Hair Faerie, as well as sun painting and shadow tracing workshops by Artist Etha, and an engaging art session by .

Experiences like these play a vital role in a child’s development — nurturing creativity, building confidence, enhancing fine motor skills and encouraging self-expression in a fun and meaningful way.

We wrapped up the celebration with our CEO, Ms. Yee Sook Fong, presenting certificates to our students (represented by their teachers) and our wonderful collaborators who made this day possible.

Today’s Senior School Assembly marked a special moment as we celebrated our newly elected Senior School Monitors. Each student was officially presented with their badge — a symbol of responsibility, trust and commitment to the school community.

We look forward to seeing them lead by example, inspire their peers and make a positive impact throughout the year 💫

Science came to life in today’s Senior School Biology lesson with Ms. Emy, as students explored Respiration and Gaseous Exchange through a hands-on dissection of a goat’s lung 🔬

From observing the structure of the airways to understanding how oxygen travels through the lungs, students had the unique opportunity to examine and even operate the specimen themselves. Guided by Ms. Emy, this interactive session allowed them to connect theory with real-life application—making learning both engaging and memorable.

A truly eye-opening experience that sparked curiosity and a deeper appreciation for how our bodies work!

The Library Event began with our dedicated committee members taking a meaningful pledge, reflecting their commitment to fostering a strong reading culture within our school. The highlight of the event featured our MIGS Literary Stars—our talented student authors—who captivated the audience as they read excerpts from their very own published short stories.
