📣 Our club proudly participated in today's press conference, where the Penang International Science Fair (PISF) 2023 was officially announced by YB Tuan Jagdeep Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang and Chairman of the Penang Science Cluster’s Board. The event also featured Dato’ Ooi Peng Ee, CEO of Penang Science Cluster, who highlighted the fair's significance.


🔨💡 We are excited to host the 3D Printed LED Table Lamp Assembly Workshop at PISF 2023, scheduled for November 25 & 26 at the SPICE Arena, Penang. This workshop offers hands-on experience in various electronic skills, including soldering, 3D printing, precision trimming, introduction to Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), understanding of circuitry, and assembly mastery.


🤝 Proudly sponsored by Mini-Circuits, and in collaboration with 鍾靈獨立中學 Chung Ling Private High School and the Creative Electronics Club CLPHS, the workshop promises to be a highlight of the fair.


👩‍🔧👨‍🔧 During today's workshop demonstration, two talented students from Chung Ling Private High School's Creative Electronics Club, Low Zi Qian (刘子谦) and Rosainne Wong (黄柔薰), showcased their expertise in electronics and maker skills. This showcase was supported and witnessed by Mr. Koh Wan Leong (许文龙), Vice Principal of Chung Ling Private High School, and Ms. Sarah Koay (郭姝丽), HR Manager of Mini-Circuits Technologies Malaysia, demonstrating the collaborative spirit of the event.

Participants will be hands-on with activities such as:

🛠️ Soldering Skills
🖨️ 3D Printing Exploration
🔧 Hands-On Tubing
✂️ Precision Trimming
📚 Introduction to PCB (Printed Circuit Board)
🔌 Circuit Understanding for a deeper insight into electric circuits
🧩 Assembly Mastery using tools such as screwdrivers, screws, nuts, washers, and spanners to build a complete assembly.


The workshop offers an engaging, hands-on experience, functioning as a mini industrial production line. It guides students through the complete manufacturing process—from processing basic parts to assembling, testing, and finalizing the product.🔩🪚


Equipped with 18 diverse mechanical and electronic tools and featuring 17 different electronic components and parts. It's designed to empower children with practical skills while igniting their curiosity in engineering and electronics.💡🔥

To promote the importance of punctuality in our school, our club has developed large digital clocks⏰, which have been placed around the school. This project took a total of six months to complete⌛.

We have created a total of three clocks, each installed in the auditorium, canteen, and lobby respectively. 🏫

These clocks have greatly helped students and teachers to manage their time effectively. With requests from the school, we have also installed a sound system in the canteen that is controlled by the large clock.🔊

The next level of the 2023 CEC Newcomer Introduction Class teaches Year 1 students how to use a breadboard. They have successfully learned to use LDRs, 555 Timers, and other components in this course. 🛠️💡

Introducing the fundamentals of electronic circuits to our Year 1 students at the 2023 CEC Newcomer Introduction Class.

Utilizing copper tape, students have successfully constructed basic LED circuits. 🔌💡

On September 23, 2023,our club collaborated with the Science Club to host a Water Rocket Competition! ⚗️🎉

From the moment the water rockets soared into the sky to the breathtaking heights they reached, this event showcased the power of teamwork, innovation, and education. 💡📚

With the support of the Science Club, participants gained knowledge, resources, and guidance, igniting their passion for exploration. 🔬🚀
