Having trouble giving reports to your clients? Planning to study or move abroad where you need to speak English? Were you about to get that promotion, but need stronger spoken English? No worries, we're here to help.
At Guadalajara's Golden Gate English Conversation Club, you can sit down with a native speaker who can help you practice your English so you can feel more confident when you speak. Don't let your nerves get the best of you, practice always makes perfect.
What can you expect at this conversation club?
At our conversation club, you will sit down with the professor and five other students to help you open up and get talking. Each 2 hour session takes place in a casual manner, with games, dynamics, and topics of every kind to keep things fresh and new every time you come in. Snacks, coffee, and even drinks are welcome to maintain a fun atmosphere while we chit chat. There is no homework or grading to worry about, the objective is to practice your oral English and expand your vocabulary. There is no continuity to each session, so you can attend different days at your convenience without any problems. Groups are maintained small to make sure everyone gets enough time to speak and listen; we like to keep it personal.
Who is welcome at Golden Gate?
Our focus is mainly on university students and working class adults. However, anyone who wants to practice their spoken English is welcome. That being said, it is recommended to have a B1 (or higher) in English to better keep up with the conversation and get the best experience possible. All you need to bring is a notebook, a pen or pencil, and maybe a drink to lighten up and let your tongue loose!
