The Dark Side Retreat in Warsaw was more than a retreat. It was an immersion into discipline, consciousness, inner work, and transformation.
Over several intense days, we trained the body through yoga and weight training, quieted the mind through meditation, expanded our understanding through classes, and entered deeply into BTT work—confronting what is often avoided, bringing awareness to what had been hidden, and creating space for greater freedom, responsibility, and love.
But the journey was not only inward.
We traveled to Auschwitz, standing in a place that carries one of humanity’s most painful histories. It was a powerful encounter with suffering, human choice, dignity, and the consequences of what can happen when consciousness, empathy, and respect for life are lost.
We also descended into the extraordinary Wieliczka Salt Mine, moving beneath the earth through chambers carved by generations before us—a striking reminder of human endurance, creation, and the beauty that can emerge through dedication and time.
Every part of the retreat became part of the work: the physical challenge, the silence, the teachings, the emotional processes, the history, the beauty, the exhaustion, and the breakthroughs.
The Dark Side Retreat was about having the courage to look inward—not to remain in darkness, but to move through it consciously.
To confront what limits us.
To reclaim responsibility for our inner world.
To strengthen the body, sharpen the mind, and open the heart.
To remember that transformation is not merely something we understand intellectually—it is something we live.
Warsaw became the setting for an extraordinary journey: deep, demanding, humbling, beautiful, and ultimately filled with light.
We arrived willing to work.
We left having touched something greater within ourselves.
Thank you to all that made this retreat possible.
There are many paths back to Love.
We are ONE.
