Who Is Candlelighters?
During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re shining a light not only on childhood cancer, but also on the children and families at the heart of everything we do.
Candlelighters of El Paso is dedicated to supporting children and families throughout our region as they face the challenges of childhood cancer. From the moment of diagnosis and throughout their journey, our goal is to make sure no family has to walk this road alone.
Through supportive programs, resources, financial assistance, family activities, camps, advocacy, education, and a caring community, we help families find moments of comfort, connection, hope, and joy during some of their most difficult days.
But Candlelighters is more than programs and services. We are a community. We stand beside children who are fighting, celebrate survivors, remember and honor those we have lost, and continue supporting the families whose lives have been forever touched by childhood cancer.
This September, we invite our El Paso community to learn more about our mission, share our message, and stand alongside the incredible children and families we are honored to serve.
Because kids can’t fight cancer alone.
