That's Andrea. She's a cosmetology student here, and she's working on a real client — cutting, shaping, and finishing it so it actually looks and feels better walking out than it did walking in.✨

You’ve thought about welding school more than once. Something always comes up — the money, the hours, the job you can’t afford to quit.

We're hiring a Welding Instructor.🔥

Prime Time Technical Institute is looking for an experienced welder to teach the next round of students at our Canutillo campus.

What we're looking for:
→ Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding experience
→ Comfortable teaching MIG, Stick and TIG
→ Able to work with adults who have never picked up a torch

What we offer:
→ Morning, noon and night class blocks — tell us which fits your schedule
→ One-day interview process. No multiple rounds, no waiting weeks to hear back
→ Phone or in-person interviews available

You don't need teaching experience. You need to know the trade and be willing to show somebody else how to do it right.

⛏️On the other, cosmetology, barbering, nails and esthetics — now offered through UTEP Professional & Continuing Education, which means you register through UTEP.⛏️

Most of these programs run months, not years. Welding has morning, noon and night classes. Beauty runs mornings or afternoons. Either way, you keep your job while you train.

Most people picture cosmetology school as one thing — two years, all in, figure it out later.

It isn’t.

Hair Weaving is about 2½ months.
Nails, about 5½.
Esthetician, about 7.
Barbering, about 9.
Full Cosmetology Operator, about 10.

You pick the one that matches the life you have right now — not the one you’d have if you could stop working for two years.⭐️

Classes run 9am–1pm or 2pm–6pm, Monday through Friday.

Been saying “next year” for three years.
Not because welding is scary. Because after running the numbers in one’s head, decided couldn’t afford it, and never asked again.

That’s the part that gets people. Not the torch.
The math they did in their head and never checked.

Here's what he found out when he finally called: there are 7 different ways to pay for training here. In-house plans, Affirm, Climb, LendMark, Project Bravo, WIOA, and DVR.

Most people qualify for at least one — and almost nobody knows that before they walk in.

MIG, Stick and TIG. Morning, noon or night classes, so you keep your job while you train.

Welders here start at $35,000–$45,000 and climb from there.
