"No aprenderá a leer", a pesar del diagnóstico hoy nos llena el corazón verle leer, escribir, aprender. Al principio parecía imposible, un día por primera vez hizo su tarea solo, le dije sorprendida: "¡wow, que bien está tu tarea! ¿Quién te ayudó?" se quedó pensando y me respondió: "Dios me ayudó maestra, el me está ayudando". Me movió el corazón por que sé que es verdad. Pequeños grandes milagros.

"He will not learn to read", despite the diagnosis, today our hearts are full of joy to see him read, write and learn. At first it seemed impossible, until one day when, for the first time, he did his homework by himself and I said surprised: "Wow, your homework is so well done! Who helped you?" He started thinking and replied: "God helped me teacher, he is helping me." My heart melted because I knew it was true. Little great miracles.

Con una familia rota y sin esperanza, ojos llenos de soledad y un corazón lleno de dolor. Todos esperaban que su vida fuera un fracaso, que fuera un caso perdido. Ahora Él sabe que la vida tiene un propósito, sabe que Dios es su buen padre, y su corazón ora con pasión por aquellos que sufren como él sufría antes. Su hermoso corazón está sanando, sonríe y cree. Su vida tiene una nueva esperanza.

With a broken family and no hope, eyes full of loneliness and a heart full of pain. Everyone expecting him to fail, to be the lost one. Now He knows life has a purpose, he knows God is his good father and his heart prays with passion for those who are in pain, like he was before. His beautiful heart is healing, he smiles and believes. His life has a new hope.

“Llévenme con ustedes” fue su reacción al vernos llegar a visitar a sus amigos en la vecindad. Con días grises por el dolor que ya conocía a su corta edad, un solo encuentro basto para saber que nuestras vidas no serían las mismas. Ahora sonríe llena de esperanza, aprende y recibe el amor y atención que tanto necesitaba.

“Take me with you” that was her reaction when she saw us coming to visit her friends on her neighborhood. With grey days because the pain she had already knew at her short age, just one encounter was needed to know that our lives would be never be the same. Now she smiles full of hope, she learns and receives the love and care she so needed.

¡Hoy los niños tuvieron un gran tiempo con un juguete nuevo! Me encanta las sonrisas de los niños. Gracias por su ayuda y apoyo. ¡Ellos están disfrutando su tiempo a Valientes y aprendiendo bastante!

The kids had a great time with a new toy today! I love their smiles. Thank you for your help and support. They are enjoying their time at Valientes and are learning so much!

(English version below) Pensamos que todos estarían de acuerdo en que tener más fotos/vídeos e historias de Valientes mejorará la experiencia en Facebook.
Dios siempre está haciendo cosas asombrosas pero a veces nuestras noticias se centran en el mal de este mundo. Trataremos de dar una visión equilibrada tanto de la triste realidad que viven los niños, así como de las sorprendentes mejoras de las que tenemos el privilegio de ser parte y de las cuales también queremos que tu seas parte.
Tu apoyo a través de la oración, tu servicio y recursos significan más de lo que te imaginas para la vidas de estos pequeños.
Así que, haremos todo lo posible para compartir lo que está pasando aquí. Por favor, no dudes en hacer cualquier pregunta, compartir los mensajes, y/o involucrarte en las maneras en las que puedas (más información más adelante).

We think that you all would agree that having more photos/videos and stories from Valientes would improve everyone's Facebook experience.

God is always doing amazing things in many lives but sometimes our news is just focused on the evil of this world. We'll try to give a balanced view of the tough reality of the lives of some of these kids while also sharing the amazing improvements we are privileged to be a part of and would love to involve you in as well.

You don't realize how much your support through prayer, service, and resources does for the lives of so many.

So, we'll do our best to share what's going on here! Please, don't hesitate to ask any questions, share the posts, and/or get involved in different ways (more on that later).

This week was full of emotions, we could see God making the impossible, He loves these kids so much, He is moving to bring a future full of hope for them. No words can express our gratitud./ Esta semana estuvo llena de emociones, pudimos ver a Dios haciendo lo que para nosotros es imposible. Él ama tanto a estos niños, se está moviendo para traer un futuro lleno de esperanza para ellos. No hay palabras para expresar nuestra gratitud.
