Two children are matching cards of antonyms and they come to the word, "work".
"Hmmmm....boredom?" one says aloud, as they look at the long list of choices. The teacher walks by and tries to hide her smile as she watches them puzzle and puzzle over it, discussing the choices.
("Play" is on a card, right in front of them!😂)

The teacher realized that her Montessori students experience "working" as something playful, fun and engaging, and intrinsically rewarding. Because they grow up with this as their school experience, it becomes their attitude for their lifetimes.
Wouldn't you wish that for your children?

Good news: we made room for more.

The AMI Montessori School Leadership Certificate reached capacity, but MINT and IEMM Portugal found a way to welcome additional participants. Applications are now open again.

Beginning September 2, the international cohort will meet live online with Nancy Coronado, Karen Bennetts, and Samantha Streak for collaborative study grounded in the practical work of Montessori leadership.
