For my SD peeps ☀️

I dislike online learning so we keep it short & jam-packed with FUN.

Monday: Lesson 🧠
Wednesday: Game/Quiz Day 🤓

I put a day in between to help make the short-term information into long-term information. 🧠🧠Let’s see how much my first student remembers tomorrow! 🤓

What did we go over in 35 mins?
• siblings
• colors
• bilingual books
• basic introductions
• sign language
• roles of nouns & adjectives

I go with the flow of your children which is why the lessons will always be so random 😂😂 BUT they’ll be excited every time 😍

Hamirez Ocampo 🐹

has a class pet thanks to Judah! He worked very hard by selling toys, clothes, household items, and more. teaches kids more than just English; self-love, finances, social skills, and more are taught and demonstrated. 🧠

Leading by example is a core value. As kids, our parents guided us with wise words but sometimes their actions didn’t match up. Remember, actions speak louder than words... be a positive verb (action word) 🙃😜😂

What kind of learner are you?

• Kinesthetic learner
• Auditory learner
• Visual learner

But did you know that when the 3 learning styles are intertwined, the most learning takes place?

Ingles Con Jess figures out the best learning style for each student & applies them in each class. Not only are strengths identified, weaknesses are identified as well. Ingles Con Jess nourishes both so that each student can become a better version of THEMSELVES.

Fun fact: I graduated from SDSU with the goal of becoming an elementary teacher in San Diego, but these intimate & informal classes in Tijuana have been one of the best things that could’ve happened to me. I don’t see myself going back to San Diego, but who knows where life may take Ingles Con Jess next ✊🏽🎓😍🥰🌎🌍

Have you ever played Monopoly with your kids?

Inglés con Jess prides on the ability to create FUN learning EXPERIENCES for children AND adults. Using games such as Monopoly teaches your kids soooo many things OTHER than English. We are practicing various skills at once: strategy, basic math, social, financial planning, time management, life, and more.

Try a class & see how your kid will say “Wow! Ya se acabó la clase?” It happens every time. & now they’re asking for more days to participate 🥰🥰🥰🥰
