Celebrating International Book Day at Welfare was a true tribute to imagination and storytelling. The FAS Department brought books to life with a vibrant costume parade, where students dressed as their favorite literary characters.
Students also participated in a book swap, giving stories a second life and discovering new adventures to take home. Throughout the day, creativity took center stage with hands-on activities such as designing their own Harry Potter wands, creating personalized bookmarks, and more.
A joyful reminder that books not only inspire us to read, but to create, connect, and imagine beyond the pages.

In our Elementary TEP Program, students have the opportunity to choose classes based on their interests and some of them chose to make a difference 🤍
As part of the Volunteering TEP, students have been learning about animal care and the importance of protecting and supporting animals in need. As part of this experience, the San Pedro Animal Welfare team visited our school to share their work with all elementary students, creating a learning opportunity for the entire community.
Inspired by this experience, the Volunteering TEP students organized a donation drive, collecting food and essential items for pets. They later visited the center to personally deliver everything they gathered, turning learning into meaningful action.
We are proud of their empathy, initiative, and commitment to making a positive impact 🐾

Durante nuestras Student Led Conferences, varios alumnos han sido reconocidos por nuestra Coordinación de Socioemocional y Neurodiversidad por su capacidad de acompañar, incluir y hacer sentir a otros que pertenecen.
Pequeños actos de empatía, apoyo e inclusión que hacen una gran diferencia y nos recuerdan que la inclusión no se enseña solo con palabras… se vive todos los días 💫

Our 5th grade students proudly represented Welfare at Destination Imagination, an international program that challenges students to think creatively, collaborate, and solve open-ended problems across areas like STEM, fine arts, and improvisation.
This year, four Welfare teams took on the challenge, bringing their ideas to life through innovation, teamwork, and perseverance.
We are especially proud to celebrate the achievements of Pitufine Arts, who earned 3rd place, and Dino Sandwiches, who secured 4th place. ✨
A huge congratulations to all our students for their creativity, dedication, and for representing our community with such passion!
