In 1968 Betina Elizondo, Alma Melo and Betty Wagner founded one of the most successful private, bilingual (English-Spanish) educational institutions in the country: the American Institute of Monterrey. Assuring quality pre-kindergarten through 9th grade education in an international context, the American Institute of Monterrey (AIM) is one of the most renowned private-bilingual schools of Mexico. Celebrating 43 years of service, the AIM is globally recognized for its high academic standards, its educational innovations, its updated technological resources, its values and leadership programs, as well as for the high performance of our students in sports. Guided by these three visionary women and supported by their students, teachers, personnel and parents, the AIM has registered a series of benchmark events in its educational history; demonstrating its continuous commitment to look for and maintain excellence. Today, as we look back on our prosperous history, we understand that achieving excellence would not be significant for our students without a reason to aim for it. Thus, our educational activities, operations and interactions with students, parents and the community at large are all focused on one basic premise: serving with excellence as the formula for attaining happiness.

This year’s Art Exhibit – MONOCHROME was an incredible celebration of artistic expression and talent. Our students explored the beauty and challenge of creating artwork using a single colour, experimenting with different techniques, textures, values and compositions to bring their ideas to life 🖌️🖤🤍

Every piece reflected the imagination, creativity and dedication of our young artists, making this exhibition a truly inspiring showcase 🌟

Our Drama Lab students from Chipinque and Valle delivered an outstanding performance of The Tempest, bringing Shakespeare’s timeless story to life with remarkable talent, creativity and confidence. 🌊📖

From powerful performances to captivating stage presence, every student demonstrated the dedication and passion they have developed throughout the year. Their hard work, teamwork and love for the performing arts truly shined on stage. 🌟👏

We were proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of our students during our 2025–2026 Awards Ceremonies, bringing together award recipients from Grades 1–12 across our Valle, Chipinque, and Huasteca campuses. 🎓👏

Throughout the ceremony, we celebrated students who demonstrated exceptional achievement and growth in academic subjects, as well as in our Sports and Fine Arts programs. We also recognized those who earned our Honor Roll and Distinguished Honor Roll distinctions. 📚🏆🎨⚽

CHAMPIONS!

Our 5th Grade Wildcats have made us incredibly proud by representing Nuevo León at the Mundialito Social 2026 and bringing home the championship trophy! 🥇

After an outstanding journey that included six matches in Guadalajara, our team advanced to the grand final at the iconic Estadio Olímpico Universitario in Mexico City, where they secured the title and became tournament champions.

This extraordinary achievement is a testament to their talent, hard work, teamwork, and determination. We would also like to extend a special thank you to their families for their unwavering support throughout this incredible experience.
