𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗢 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗦
Usamos "would like to", "would prefer to", "would rather" and "Why don't..", para expresar preferencia o alternativa respecto de algo.

SIGNIFICADO DE ACUERDO A ESTE CONTEXTO:

I would like to..
(Me gustaría..)

I would prefer to
(Preferiría..)

I would rather..
(Preferiría..)

Why don't..?

ALGUNOS EJEMPLOS:

CASO 1:
I want to go to the park but, I would like to go to the movies.
(QUIERO IR AL PARQUE PERO, ME GUSTARÍA IR AL CINE.)

CASO 2:
I would prefer to study English than French.
(PREFERIRÍA ESTUDIAR INGLÉS QUE FRANCÉS.)

CASO 3:
I would rather study English than French. *
(PREFERIRÍA ESTUDIAR INGLÉS QUE FRANCÉS.)
.....aplica igual que al caso anterior inmediato, a diferencia que, gramaticalmente hablando, después de "rather" el verbo no lleva la partícula "to"......

CASO 4:
>> I am bored, why don't we go to the mall?

- Yeah, of course! Let's go! 😃

>> I didn't study yesterday, why don't we study before starting class.

- That's a good idea, go ahead! 😃
.
Regards to all of you un here! Practice English everyday! 😊
