Once again, we are on the hunt for a new teaching kitchen. We're grateful to the new and returning students we got to cook with this season, and are looking forward to resuming classes by the fall.

Since we're in the middle of a house remodel, as well as some long-overdue maintenance our own corporal bricks and mortar, we're viewing this temporary setback as another opportunity to evolve, grow, and improve.

Thank you for you support, always!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Whatever your family traditions may be, we hope you enjoy them to the fullest.

Because man does not live by gorditas alone: scrumptious Japanese lunch at Wanwan Sakaba. Marco is deathly allergic to fish, but I’m not! Spicy tuna goodness with sweet and cloudy sake, ahhhh.

This is doña Manuela. Her tamales and tlacoyos are non plus ultra. She is so humble and sweet; she doesn’t realize how gifted she is.
