Theater is not just about the drama on stage. 🎭

In Miss Brenda's Spanish class, students explored theater as a canvas for developing verbal and physical expression, empathy, self-esteem, and collaboration.

Through a series of short one-act performances, students tackled timeless questions about love, death, and justice with plenty of laughter along the way. More than a creative exercise, these performances encouraged critical thinking, reflection, and the development of a more thoughtful society.

El teatro no se limita solo a la obra que se presenta en el escenario. 🎭

En la clase de español de la Maestra Brenda Hernández, los alumnos exploraron el teatro como un lienzo para desarrollar la expresión verbal y corporal, la empatía, la autoestima y la colaboración.

A través de una serie de breves representaciones de un solo acto, los alumnos abordaron cuestiones atemporales sobre el amor, la muerte y la justicia, con muchas risas en el camino. Más que un ejercicio creativo, estas representaciones fomentaron el pensamiento crítico, la reflexión y el desarrollo de una sociedad más reflexiva.

Let's hear it for our very own 6th-grade Shark, Julen, who is competing in the Etapa Estatal de la Olimpiada del Conocimiento Infantil 2026 in Zapopan!

Julen is representing not only our school, but also the wider Vallarta community as he takes on new challenges in mathematics, language, communication, and science.

We are incredibly proud of everything Julen has accomplished to reach this stage. His hard work, dedication, and perseverance have already taken him far, and we know he will continue to shine.

In collaboration with Casa Cultural Mixtli, a community organization dedicated to supporting local families through education and food assistance, we are collecting backpacks to donate to students in need.

A backpack may seem like a small thing, but for a student pursuing an education, it can be an important step toward success. Join us in helping equip students with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive. 🎒📚

Esa mochila que acumula polvo en tu closet podría ayudar a cambiar el futuro de un estudiante.

En colaboración con Casa Cultural Mixtli, una organización comunitaria dedicada a apoyar a las familias locales a través de la educación y la ayuda alimentaria, estamos recolectando mochilas para donarlas a estudiantes que las necesitan.

Una mochila puede parecer algo insignificante, pero para un estudiante que busca formarse, puede ser un paso importante hacia el éxito. Únete a nosotros para ayudar a equipar a los estudiantes con las herramientas que necesitan para aprender, crecer y prosperar. 🎒📚

✨ A piece of advice he'd give to incoming high schoolers:
"Lock in; it will pay out soon."

⏰ In 10 years, he sees himself:
"I will be running my own business that combines health and technology."

👋 What he'll miss most about ASPV:
"I'll miss spending every day with my classmates and the chismes with teachers."

Santi will be attending Illinois Tech, where he will study Engineering and Business.

Simone is taking her skills to Paris, where she'll be at the center of fashion, marketing, and finance! 🇫🇷

✨ A piece of advice she’d give to incoming high schoolers:
“I’d say it’s important not to compare yourself to others, because everyone has unique abilities and talents. Focus on appreciating all the amazing qualities you do possess and not what you don´t have.”

⏰ In 10 years, she sees herself:
“I’ll be working for myself with my own clothing brand and giving back to my parents.”

👋 What she’ll miss most about ASPV:
“Making jokes with my friends and making new memories every day.”

Simone will study Marketing, Finance, and Fashion Studies at the American University of Paris.

Santi has the blueprints for his future, and he's ready to get building. 🛠️

✨ A piece of advice he'd give to incoming high schoolers:
"Maintain focus and stay confident in what you want to achieve."

⏰ In 10 years, he sees himself:
"I will have a job in architecture, having my projects built."

👋 What he'll miss most about ASPV:
"I'll miss being a part of a community where everyone knows each other."

Santi will study Architecture at Tec de Monterrey, Guadalajara Campus.
