Smashing the patriarchy is not the way to go. Healing the masculine is. And to do that, we have to heal our feminine. Our mothers and grandmothers did the outer work, so we can choose what we want to do with our lives, but WE have to do the inner work that is required to get to true freedom and wholeness, so we can experience GENUINE LOVE.

Hey sisters! Let's talk about a topic that hits close to home for many of us - the Superwoman Syndrome. 🦸‍♀️ You know that feeling of trying to be everything to everyone and doing it all with a smile? While it's incredible how we can handle so much, it's essential to recognize the impact it can have on our love lives. 💔

Playing the Superwoman game almost ruined my current relationship.💔 And, most importantly, it prevented me to attract the right partner for a long time. You see, I was striving for perfection to compensate for my insecurities. Yes, that one was hard to admit. I thought I was just a "perfectionnist"😅

But it turned out that striving for perfection made me loose my sense of self to the point of not knowing who I was anymore. I was deeply dissatisfied with my life. I started to unconsciously project my unhappiness onto my man. I was short with him. Frustrated when he was asking something from me, not seeing that I was exhausted or not guessing my needs. Blaming him for a lot of the things that were "wrong" in our relationship, like the house chores ratio, our finances, parenting and the lack of connection I felt with him, just to name a few.

I held onto this Superwoman mask until I collapsed. Until I had no other choice but to "die", metaphorically. This role had to go. I had to reinvent myself. But 1st, I needed to heal. Which I did. I emerged from the darkness transformed. And it transformed my relationship BIG TIME.

I healed past wounds that were driving me. I made peace with my shadows and accepted that they are part of myself. I recognized my light and owned my darkness (we all have it inside). Which, oddly, healed my self-esteem. It made me feel SOLID in myself and more compassionate, less judgmental with others but above all, with my man.
