🦂 ¿Sabías que en México hay más de 289 especies de alacranes? 🦂

Algunas especies pueden ser peligrosas para la salud, especialmente las del género Centruroides. Sin embargo, existen muchos mitos sobre su identificación:

❌ "Los alacranes claros son los más venenosos" – No siempre, hay especies oscuras altamente tóxicas.
❌ "Las pinzas delgadas significan más veneno" – No es una regla, algunas especies inofensivas también las tienen.
❌ "Si tiene doble aguijón, es mortal" – Ese "doble aguijón" es solo una protuberancia común en muchas especies.

🔎 ¿Cómo identificar un alacrán peligroso?
✅ Generalmente son amarillos o café claro con rayas oscuras.
✅ Sus pinzas son delgadas y su cola tiene segmentos cilíndricos.
✅ Se encuentran en estados como Jalisco, Morelos, Guerrero y Durango.

⚠️ Lo más importante: La identificación del alacrán puede ayudar, ¡pero el tratamiento depende de los síntomas! Si alguien es picado, acude de inmediato al médico.

❌ "A double stinger means it's deadly" – That "double stinger" is just a small bump common in many species.

🔎 How to identify a dangerous scorpion?
✅ They are usually yellow or light brown with dark stripes.
✅ They have thin pincers and a cylindrical-shaped tail.
✅ They are commonly found in states like Jalisco, Morelos, Guerrero, and Durango.
