Usually 14-15 days before we start the Idc. There is an elearning part you need to study before the IDC and the rest of the training we do it together.

The IDC includes the EFR instructor level amd the MSDT. You will need to pay apart the certification for efr and MSDT.

We have been spending 4 days promoting PADI IDC at the Paris Salon de la Plongée together with the 5 star IDC center where I work as PADI Course Director.
We speak Spanish French Italian English German and Swiss German so you can feel ok to have your IDC done in a language you fully understand. When you dive in a different environment of the one you are used to dive daily, you need to adjust yourself and get mentally ready to face new challenges. During my visit to Malta I wemt out of my confort zone and dove in colder water (16C against my usual 26C). I had to use a thicker undergarment, gloves, get used to the colder water on my face… visibility was good and the wrecks astonishing. What made everything easy was to find a great dive center to get our dives and a trustful instructor. Thanks Orange Shark Diving and Lauren! There is no reason to think we know everything. Be humble and ready to learn. It does not matter what is your certification level. Wreck diving in Malta is astonishing but enjoy it the right way. Teaching to inflate a buoy and buddy team work is part of any ow course as well as aow up to DM and Instructor. We care about you learning as much as having a good time diving together.
