We have a number of teaching posts available in Mexico. The posts are for 'homeroom' teachers, otherwise known as primary teachers, to teach subjects such as English, Math and Science, all of which are taught in English. It's a great opportunity for newly qualified teachers looking for some experience, or even someone who is looking to take a year out before doing their masters or PGCE. We also have available posts for P.E. The host schools use the IB curriculum like most International and European schools and even some schools in the UK. They are a family of private schools called Colegios Madison, and comprise of 6 schools located in different cities throughout Mexico, with the first of the schools being established in 1978 (http://www.colegiosmadison.edu.mx/english/anglo-britanico.htm). There are 3 schools in the city of Monterrey, 1 in the city of Torreon, 1 in Chihuahua, and another in the coastal city of Veracruz. PRIMARY/SECONDARY OPPORTUNITIES
We have a number of posts, both in PYP and MYP levels of the IB curriculum.

Start date: August 2020

Length of contract:
Usually for a minimum of 1 school year, some teachers may be asked to renew their contract depending on performance.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER/SPORTS ACADEMY COACH:

Start date: August 2014

Length of contract:
Usually for a minimum of 1 school year, some teachers may be asked to renew their contract depending on performance.

Benefits:
Competitive salary (based on living expenses in Mexico), paid accommodation*, paid holidays. The school processes and pays for all visa applications, as well as providing a medical insurance account. Spanish classes are available (not compulsory).

Duties:
To plan and deliver to the best of your ability, classes of Physical Education, to students from 5-15 years of age (please state if you wish to teach kinder, primary, or secondary). All classes will be in English and will be planned and delivered using the IB curriculum, in which the teacher will receive information and training. The school also has a sports academy in football, basketball, gymnastics, dance, taekwando, art, music and robotics. Depending on the number of students that register, academy roles and teams will be stated at the start of the school year. Academy sessions take part in the afternoon, with the P.E. classes usually finishing by noon.
