Technically speaking, delta is the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet. The first few times the Delta leadership team gathered, it was probably the only name that seemed to fit. It came so natural, it's short, easy to remember, but most important, it’s very meaningful. The dream was to have a club that would hold its sessions in English. Making it the first of its kind: an open space in which English speakers, expert or novice, can practice their leadership and, most importantly: their communication skills. Not an English class, because there is no grade, but an open study group, where session after session we learn different skills, from simple things such as new words or expressions or to perhaps more complex things like insight on a particular topic. A very special characteristic of Delta is that our members come from different backgrounds, making our sharing and learning experiences quite enriching.
