Good evening, everyone!! I am very happy right now because today I had the opportunity to see my students *in person!!* for the first time in a long while and give them a few little presents I prepared for them. I feel immensely grateful to be able to do what I love the most and to have such amazing students to teach everyday! I also appreciate you, the ones who read and like my posts whenever I have something to tell you about, so so so much!! Thank you for being here, I wish all of you a very happy holiday season!! 🧑‍🎄❤

The other day one of my star students and I were playing detectives to practice using "was" and "were" to talk about the past. I was being accused of stealing a cheesecake!!! Can you believe that?? Just so you know, I am lactose intolerant 😤 ... Okay, I do love cheesecake no matter what, it's my favorite dessert. Anyway, I was trying to defend myself when suddenly my student was sharing her screen and showed this picture where you can clearly see me with the cheesecake in question!!! AAAAH I'm sorry, it was delicious!! How could I not take it?!??? 😭 - All jokes aside, I loved how she came up with that on the spot 😂 A pretty good detective indeed!

HAPPY WORLD TEACHERS' DAY!!! 🍎🎉
This morning I woke up extra early and quite excited to start my day as I joined a few online seminars that will take place throughout the week to celebrate World Teachers' Day organized by the British Council. The two webinars I attended today were amazing, both discussing very interesting topics and it was so good to hear about other people's experiences while teaching English as a foreign lenguage around the world, the speakers were so great I even want to make a Twitter account just to follow them all and stay up to date with their research!! Things like these motivate me to continue learning and improving what I do as a teacher and I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to reflect on my job and see how I can be a better me everyday. I am looking forward to the rest of the webinars this week and will definitely update you at the end of it to share a bit of my thoughts 😊 As always, thank you for being here, everyone!! Hello hello!! I'm here to check in after a while, I hope you've been well, now that October is here I am feeling ready to welcome the chilly season. This really is my favorite time of the year! By the way, I want to apologize for the unexpected "hiatus" on my YouTube series, I do plan to continue and finish the 6 episodes I planned but recently I've been having a lot of work to do (which I am very thankful for 🙏) so it's been difficult for me to stay on schedule 😅 Thank you so much for your constant support, hopefully the videos will resume soon, in the meantime, I'll see you around here 🥰
