Greengates Student Council (GSC)

Hey guys. My name is Mauricio Mireles, and to be honest, I have no clue why I am the manager of this page. But I will take advantage of this opportunity. I guess a lot of you do not attend Greengates anymore. And a lot of you do not live in Mexico, but I'm sure you all heard about the horrible earthquake that struck the city that we all once called "home". I want to ask you to please help in any way you can. Go and volunteer to one of the many centers that are asking for assistance. For those of you who do not live in Mexico, raise awareness to the people you know, and ask them to donate to one of the many rescue groups that are taking care of those who suffered the most.

Class of 2017! Halloween party!

Congratulations to Isaac Overson on becoming the new school President!

Tomorrow, Greengates School will be wearing white.
I'm sure you've all heard about the tragic that are happening in Paris at the moment. 129 victims just in France, not to mention all other countries that are suffering from ISIS attacks.
Greengates is an international school, and is a prime example of how different nationalities, cultures, and religions can come together without violence. Surely we can dream that one day the world will be the same.

To all the families suffering from any and all oppression from their leaders (political or self-imposed).

STARTING THIS WEEK WE WILL BE COLLECTING FUNDS FOR NEPAL:

Mr. Worthington has offered the Form Group with the highest amount of donations to SHAVE HIS BEARD (excluding the moustache)!

Greengates School as a whole has donated quite a lot to the Nepali already but we can always do more.

We will send out more details through email and on fliers around school.

Evening Lions!

Don't forget to come by the Student Council Stand tomorrow at the Fair. We'll be offering to sell flower crowns, or you can choose to make them yourselves, as well as a polaroid photo booth. Oh and of course, Silly String!

The International Fair is a huge tradition at Greengates so bring all your friends and family!
