Casimiro Zamudio, líder de Su Majestad Mi Banda El Mexicano, acudió a una invitación especial en la ciudad de Madrid para saludar al embajador de México en ese país, el también mazatleco Quirino Ordaz Coppel.

Durante el encuentro, el embajador se mostró complacido de recibir a Zamudio, quien cuenta con más de 50 años de trayectoria como compositor, arreglista, productor y cantante, y cuyo legado en el regional mexicano incluye la creación del popular movimiento de “Baile del Caballito”.

El embajador recibió tanto a Casimiro Zamudio como a su esposa, Kerena Zamudio, quienes se encuentran de vacaciones en España, país que forma parte del continente europeo.

Asimismo, no se descarta que la agrupación se presente próximamente en la Madre Patria, lo que convertiría a España en el segundo país del continente europeo en recibir a Su Majestad Mi Banda El Mexicano, después de su exitoso concierto en París, Francia en 2022.

La música de Su Majestad Mi Banda El Mexicano pone en alto a Mazatlán, llevando su identidad, ritmo y tradición a públicos de distintos países y consolidando el orgullo mazatleco en escenarios en México así como internacionalmente destacando en países como Venezuela, Canadá, Estados Unidos y Nicaragua.

Until we meet again . Your passion for guitar and sharing the good stuff was something we shared. I met you at a Starbucks while we were both taking a break from in 2011 and next thing we knew we were planning concerts in Mexico. You introduced me to and through her I met the amazing while approaching her to invite to perform at . Inspired by you I produced many festivals and master classes, and founded which allowed amazing guitarists like to come and share their knowledge, talent and experience with Mexican guitar players. My passion for music remains thanks to mentors and friends like you and who you will greet on the other side. The record you gifted me was played so many times and for over a year constantly in my car when touring, and I shared your music, passion and talent with anyone who rode with me in my car. You met my family, my friends and stayed at my house. You knew how to appreciate life and always talked proudly about your son who played tennis. 🎾 you shared with me so much, and you are always in my thoughts. You struggled with your health the last years and I know you are now in a place of peace. Your soul flies high. You will be missed and remembered, your path on earth was a blessing to all who attended your festivals, worked with you and met you. Thank you for all the hard work you put into music, for always being true and humble, for supporting your friends and for being an example to me from a young age. God bless you and your family. Rest in peace my dear friend. You will be missed.
