The Diagnostic Tests for English Students (DTES) are a series of tests targeted at children, teenagers and adult learners of English. All test versions focus on the use of the English language in simple, relevant and meaningful ways. In most cases, there is no need for candidates to take a preparation course before sitting the test. The purpose of these tests is to measure candidates’ mastery of the English language in each of the skill areas.
