Ohio friends, (and those who wish to take a road trip) next Friday, May 15 at 8 PM we are having our Cleveland book launch of
Embrace: Poems That Undress the Silence. We had so much fun in LA this past February that we decided to go to each of our hometowns to have a launch party/book signing. It’s going to be another gorgeous evening filled with loads of adjectives and almost zero dangling participles…

I’m still floating.
My book launch was everything I prayed for and more. There was something sacred in that room—an openness, a tenderness. At one point, I watched a grown man wipe tears as my poetry floated through the air. That moment alone will stay with me forever.
Friends and family traveled from near and far to celebrate me and celebrate female sensuality. Thank you to everyone who showed up, who shared space with me, who believed in Embrace. And for the many people who weren’t able to attend, but purchased and shared. It means everything.
Thank you to my powerhouse co-poets, Chrissy Costa, Lori Bellman and Renee Kogler. I couldn’t have done this withiut you.
I felt surrounded. I felt held. I felt deeply loved.
And then—Embrace reached #1 Bestseller in three different poetry categories.
What a gift. What a night.

It’s finally happening!
