At Habla, we often begin and end our sessions in a circle.
Sometimes there is movement. Sometimes, stillness. We come together to share and reflect, to listen and be heard. At times, we gather simply to take in the present—to appreciate a sound, a silence, our environment, or the little things we sometimes overlook.
A circle sets the way we share a space. There is no front of the room and no single voice at the center. We are all here, together, making room for all voices.
Over the years, our circles have been the setting for conversations and questions, laughter and quiet moments. They have brought together people of all ages and walks of life: students and teachers, strangers turned into friends and colleagues, as well as groups returning, excited to reconnect.
A circle is more than a seating or class arrangement. It is a way of embracing our communities.
Imagine, for a moment, that your feet are back on that circle: What is something you still carry with you from that experience?
