🌟 Real-Life Learning in Action! 🇲🇽🔍
This weekend, I organized a Treasure Hunt in downtown León with two of my students—and it was a total success! 🙌

They navigated the city, chatted with locals, and uncovered fun details about everyday life in Mexico. 🗺️💬✨
Not only was it a great cultural immersion experience, but it also gave them the chance to practice real-world language skills in a playful way.

And yes—I learned a couple things too! 😄
This is what learning should feel like: meaningful, dynamic, and full of surprises.

I had a lesson today with two amazing boys who are pretty good at Spanish. We read together a few pages of Harry Potter and then they turned the anecdote into a series of emojis. Can you guess what was going on in the book?

One of the things I enjoy the most about being a Spanish teacher is being able to share with my students the wonders of mexican culture. This week I took Saki downtown in León to walk around the seasonal market dedicated to sweet and ornaments for "día de los mu***os". We had a great time 🙂
