I really enjoyed my Spanish lessons with Ammi. She helped me with my pronunciation and would explain the little nuances to me. She really helped build my confidence to go out and speak!

If you are in search of a new adventure like learning a beautiful language like Spanish, you should share that journey with Yadira and her team. She will coach you at your pace and work with your ability to recall what you have learned.

I've had the pleasure of studying with her for more than five years. She will always welcome you and you will be forever touched by her...

With Yadira I gained a second mother for a week (and possibly the rest of my life). She made me feel like family at every moment of my homestay, not simply as a guest or even something transactional. I had been searching for a homestay program in southern Mexico to do a deep immersion in Spanish and my weeklong stay gave me the experience i had been hoping to have, and more!

I took 30 hours of classes with her over the course of one week and each one had a different flavor and form (as well as a different location depending on what we wanted to do that day). My previous Spanish courses elsewhere had all been more classroom based, and though her educational approach is much more casual it was no less rigorous.

Ammi is someone who loves linguistics and literature and derives joy from guiding others towards gaining capacity and confidence with the depths...

I found her very patient and funny.
Yadira made the classes most interesting because they were so practical. She explained at the beginning what to expect and then required me to speak only in Spanish to search for any word that would work in communicating my message or question.

I feel so much more confident in speaking hearing and responding and will continue my language studies hopefully with a teacher as engaging as Yadira.

To further improve my speaking skills, I spent seven days at her family’s homestead in La Barrita, just outside of Petatlan.
