21 de septiembre, es el día internacional de La Paz. Es un día que se celebra en todo el mundo. La Asamblea General de la ONU ha declarado esta fecha como el día dedicado al fortalecimiento de los ideales de paz, a través de la observación de 24 horas de no violencia y alto el fuego.

Este día fue declarado así en 1981. Dos décadas más tarde, en 2001, la Asamblea General decidió por unanimidad designar este Día jornada de no violencia y alto el fuego.

El tema de 2021 para el Día Internacional de la Paz es "Recuperarse mejor para un mundo equitativo y sostenible". Unámonos todos a esta iniciativa, todos estamos en este mundo y podemos hacerlo un lugar mucho más lleno de amor, bondad, esperanza y compasión para todos.
