✨ Really quick class with the siblings as we are trying to adjust schedules due to different routines and daily life. ✨

✨ We practiced present simple verbs and the verb “to be” + ING with easy sentences, mainly so they don’t forget after some time without classes. ✨

✨ We also worked on speaking through simple conversations about their daily life and everyday activities. ✨

✨ Then I invited my husband for a little bit, who is a native speaker, and they introduced and described themselves while answering basic questions about their life. ✨

✨ Great activity to help adapt their listening to a native accent and engage naturally in conversation. ✨

🔤 Alphabet: We practiced the alphabet and talked about the name or sound of each letter.

🧍 Body Parts: We worked on body parts using didactic material. He learned by drawing and repeating the words after me.

👕 Clothing: He learned clothing names with a puzzle activity and matched each item to the correct body part.

🏠 Parts of the House: We read a book about the house, and afterward he drew his house and talked about it.

She also mentioned a potential opportunity to become a CPR instructor 👩‍🏫🚑 because of her strong communication skills 🇺🇸🇲🇽🗨️. In addition, we talked about a possible collaboration with an association that supports victims of violence within the Latin community in Los Angeles 🤍🌆 She feels very excited and motivated about these upcoming opportunities 🌈💫

After that, we continued working with the book 📖 and studied ecosystems and deserts 🌵🏜️. She learned new vocabulary, including prickly pear 🌵🍐 We also reviewed the difference between desert 🏜️ and dessert 🍰

🎤✨ We ended the session with Kenny Rogers and The Gambler 🤠♠️ because in life, we’re all gamblers in different ways 🎲 learning where to place our bets, what to hold onto, and what to let go ✨

Super happy birthday to my student 🎈🥳 The day before our class was her birthday, so I prepared a little balloon decoration to make it extra special for her 🎂✨

After celebrating, we moved into class and talked about real-life situations, struggles, and the importance of keeping going even when life gets tough 💪🌎 We are both very faithful and we both love to pray, so we did a little prayer in English together 🙏💛

Later, we talked about meditation, balance, good habits, and personal growth 🧘‍♀️✨ It was really nice being able to share part of my journey and experiences with my student 💫

Intensive two-hour English speaking session today 🔥🗣️💬✨ I really make my students TALK 💯😆

We started by talking about their day 🌞 and their week 📅✨ Luisito told me he won his wrestling championship 🏆🤼‍♂️💪 and that honestly made me so proud 🥹👏 I’m always super happy for the achievements of others 💛🌟 Dylan also shared about his fun week at school 🏫, at home 🏡, and with his family 👨‍👩‍👦✨

Then we moved into playing Guess Who? 🎭🕵️‍♂️❓ I LOVE this game because students practice asking questions in third person while trying to guess the character 😆💭

After that, we worked on synonyms 📚🧠✨ They had to replace words in sentences 🔄 and then create their own sentences using the new vocabulary 📝💬

Next, we practiced vocabulary with cards 🃏✨ and they did really good 👏🔥

We also did a dictation activity ✍️📖🎧 I read a short story in English 🇺🇸💬 and they had to write down what they heard 👂📝 They’re doing amazing with speaking 🗣️🌟 but writing practice is important too 💯✏️

And finally, we played “Same Same But Different” 🎲😂✨ They loved it so much that we brought it back out again 🙌💛

Lots of speaking 🗣️✨ lots of laughs 😂💛 and beautiful progress little by little 🌱📚🌟
