Every new beginning deserves a warm welcome.

Last Friday, we opened our doors to the newest members of our ASFG community. New students got to explore their campus, break the ice with peers and student leaders, and discover everything that comes with being a Warrior.

From athletics and robotics to our Language Institute, extended learning programs, cafeterias, and our parents and alumni associations, we wanted every family to leave knowing that ASFG is more than a school. It is a community built to support students at every step.

Lighting up more possibilities! 💡🏐🏀

This summer, our Projects team is installing new lighting for our outdoor volleyball and basketball courts. This upgrade will let our P.E. and Sports team hold classes later in the afternoon and during the winter months, when it gets dark early.

By using our existing infrastructure and adding underground wiring to power the new lights, we’re creating one more space for our community to enjoy recreation and play — rain or shine, day or night!

Can’t wait to see these courts light up this fall! 🌟

Summer upgrades are underway! 🏗️

Our Projects team has been hard at work getting campus ready for the 26-27 school year. Right by the Pink Palace, a new building is getting a major transformation into fresh classroom space for our students.

The former sports offices are also being reimagined into a bigger recreational area and expanded cafeteria space, giving our students more room to eat, connect, and enjoy their time on campus.

Can’t wait to welcome everyone back to these upgraded spaces this fall! 🎉

Our 4th graders took us on a journey around the world through this year’s Folklorama.

Throughout the school year, students explored cultures from 🇳🇿 New Zealand, 🇵🇷 Puerto Rico, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇰🇷 South Korea, 🇿🇦 South Africa, and 🇦🇪 the United Arab Emirates. Their learning came to life through vibrant exhibitions and performances that reflected the traditions, stories, and spirit of each country.

Folklorama is a celebration of curiosity, cultural appreciation, and global learning, inspiring our students to embrace diverse perspectives and better understand the world around them.

Congratulations to our 4th graders on a beautiful showcase of learning! 🌍✨

Middle school is where children become something more. Where curiosity sharpens, character forms, and young people begin to discover who they are and what they stand for.

As our 8th graders close this chapter, we also celebrate the Brian Merrill Award, given in honor of a beloved middle school principal whose legacy lives in the students who lead with purpose and serve with heart. A recognition for the Warriors who go above and beyond, not because they were asked to, but because it is simply who they are.

Congratulations, Warriors. High school is waiting for you.

🎓🎖️ College Admissions Report for the Class of 2026.

The ASFG High School Faculty and Administrative Team are happy to report the Class of 2026 had a successful college admissions season with the vast majority of its members gaining acceptance to one or more of the universities or colleges on their application list.

In closing this report, we wish to wholeheartedly thank the teachers and staff at ASFG that have worked with the graduating Warriors since Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle School, and High School.

We recognize that it truly does take a village to get to where these promising young men and women are at this point of their lives.

Two projects. Ten students. And a whole new way of looking at the world.

Our 5th graders explored what it truly means to see through someone else’s eyes. One group dove into how neurodivergent and disabled individuals learn and experience the world around them. Another uncovered the hidden meanings layered beneath paintings and works of art that we thought we already knew.

This is what academic curiosity looks like in middle school at ASFG: students who do not just study the world, they question it, challenge it, and find new ways to understand it.

Today, we proudly celebrated the graduation of the Senior Class of 2026 🎓

This milestone marks the closing of an important chapter and the beginning of new journeys shaped by years of learning, growth, perseverance, and community. Throughout their time at ASFG, these students have grown not only academically, but as purposeful learners, critical thinkers, effective communicators, and community contributors.

As they begin this next chapter, we know they carry forward the values that define our community: to inspire, educate, and act to better our world. We are proud of all they have accomplished and excited for all that lies ahead.
