Somewhere on this campus, buried beneath the ground, there are letters written by eighteen year olds who are trying to make sense of who they are right now. Objects that meant something today, even if they cannot fully explain why. Words addressed to a version of themselves they have not met yet.
The Class of 2026 sealed a piece of this moment in time, to be opened in 2036. By then, life will look different. They will look different. But tonight, they were here, together, and they wanted to remember that.
We will be waiting for you, Warriors.

One of the best parts of being a senior at ASFG? You get to say goodbye like this.
Swimsuits, soap, water, music, and the kind of laughter that only happens when you’re surrounded by people you’ve grown up with. Class of 2026 made the most of it.

Every year, on the last day before exams, our seniors gather at the top of the high school building they have walked into every single day for years.
They sign each other’s shirts, say the things that needed to be said, and when the moment comes, they let go.
Papers fly. Notes, exams, files from a chapter of their lives that is now complete. It is messy and loud and full of tears, and it is one of the most honest traditions we have.
What happens after is just as meaningful. Our community comes together to clean up, because that is who we are.

There is something unique about Noche Bohemia. The lights dim, the stage comes alive, and our high school students take the night to share something they have been working on, something they genuinely love.
Music has always been part of how young people make sense of the world. At ASFG, it is also how they learn to express themselves with confidence, collaborate with peers, and bring their creativity to an audience that is there to truly listen.
Voices, instruments, and a little bit of magic in the air.
Noche Bohemia is one of those evenings that reminds us why the arts belong at the heart of education. 🦁🎶

Middle School Rec Night was exactly what it was meant to be: a fun, well-deserved night for our 5th through 8th graders to unwind, hang out, and just enjoy being together.
Games, dancing, good energy, and a campus that felt alive. These are the nights students talk about for a while.
Great to see our middle schoolers have a night that was entirely their own.

Every Senior Project begins with a question. Something a student genuinely wanted to explore, understand, or change.
What follows is months of research, mentorship, and hands-on work that asks students to think critically, communicate clearly, and take real ownership of their learning.
At this year’s showcase, our seniors presented projects rooted in their own interests and in problems they identified as worth solving. The result was a wide range of initiatives, each one reflecting authentic inquiry and a genuine commitment to contributing something meaningful to their communities, their fields, and beyond.
This is what purposeful learning looks like when students are trusted to lead it.

Last Wednesday, we celebrated Teacher’s Day at ASFG, a special tradition where we honor the educators who guide, inspire, and shape generations of Warriors.
We were so happy to welcome back retired teachers who continue to be part of our story. Faculty and staff also gathered to celebrate the academic achievements and dedication of their colleagues throughout the years.
We recognized members of our community for 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of dedicated service to ASFG, and celebrated this year’s retirees for their commitment, care, and lasting impact on every student and family who has had the privilege of knowing them.
You will always be part of the ASFG family. 🦁💙
