Mauro started studying at Na’atik when he was in first grade, and today he can see how much he has grown in his learning journey, from understanding songs and movies in English to having conversations with tourists.

For him, learning English has been fun, and he also sees the language as a tool that will help him achieve his dreams of traveling, working in tourism, and becoming an architectural designer.

We’re happy to continue being part of your learning journey and to see how much you enjoy learning the language, how much you’ve progressed, and how you’re becoming more confident using what you learn in real-life situations.

A big Na’atik welcome to Linden, our new Fundraising Manager!

Linden joins us with a background in community development and nonprofit work, and we’re excited to have her bring her experience to Na’atik and help us grow the support behind our work.

Her journey has taken her to different parts of the world. She has lived in the U.S., Jordan, and Indonesia, and speaks English, Arabic, and Indonesian. Now, she’s beginning her next chapter in Mexico and continuing to improve her Spanish.

At Na’atik, Linden will be helping us strengthen our fundraising efforts, build new relationships, and connect more people with the work happening in our community.
