🎯 "Let’s empower our students through multisensory experiences like physical movement, music, and games. These strategies 'unlock' the brain’s neuroplasticity, allowing learners to not only absorb vocabulary but also to internalize complex cognitive skills and socio-emotional values like empathy and collaboration."

Written task

You are living abroad and want to tell your family
about recent events.

Write an email describing:

What kind of event it was, where it was, who was there and why It was special.

Subject: My amazing weekend in Toronto!

Subject: Greetings from Casa Loma!

Hi family,

I want to share some news with you! Last Sunday, I was at a very famous place, here in Toronto, called Casa Loma.

It was a reunion for international students, and the setting was fantastic. Casa Loma wasn't just a house; it was a giant Gothic Revival castle with beautiful gardens.

The event was in the main hall and the conservatory. I was there with my classmates, and our history teacher was there too to explain the past. It was interesting to see the old rooms.

Why was it special? It was special because the atmosphere was majestic. On Saturday, the weather was awful, but on Sunday, it was great for the tour. The gardens were beautiful, and the view of the city was perfect. It wasn't boring at all; it was a day I will never forget!

I'll send pictures soon!

Love,

Teacher Ofe.
