📍Since or For

-📒Since: When something started in the past and continues until now.
°I have been studying English since 2017.
It's mostly used in the present perfect and perfect progressive tense.

-📘For: We use it when we measure the duration of something or how long it last. It has an starting point and an ending point and can be used in different tenses.
° I will be in Mexico for around 7 months.
•He has been living in Washington for 3 years.

*📕Some time
*📘Sometime
*📗Sometimes

*📕Some time: a considerable period of time.
-He needs some time to think about it.

*📘Sometime: a time in the future or in the past but you don't know exactly when.
-I'll have a vacation sometime in July.

*📗Sometimes: Something happens occasionally but not always.
-Sometimes I go to work by bus.

'MAKE' or 'DO'

Make: We use it when we're creating something that didn't exist before. We don't use it for activities. Example: to make a tea/ to make a promise/ to make a mistake.

Do: We use it when we're completing a task that already exists. We can use it for activities. Example: to do my homework/ to do the dishes/ to do an interview.

Exceptions:
Make: to make my bed.
Do: to do my make up/ to do a drawing/ to do business.
