Okay, let's start again because the speech got lost. Well, basically, learning the fifth stage is learning... we've already seen what learning sounds and syllables is. We have to learn about accents, syllable separation, and where the accents are placed, the differentiation of accents, how we differentiate one accent from another. There are three types of accents: the diacritical accent, the prosodic accent, and the written accent. In addition to these, there are pronunciation accents. These pronunciation accents vary according to the type and geographical location of each region where Spanish is spoken. This isn't the fifth stage; it's part of the fourth. It's still part of the fourth stage. For the fifth stage, what we have to learn in this case is, first, to learn the basic vocabulary of communication, the technical vocabulary, and to identify the three important vocabularies or important conditions: slang or communication Spanish, which has a double meaning or is interpreted between the lines and sometimes has a double message; the third is literary Spanish, which isn't spoken but is written, but you need to learn it because you need it to listen to it or to read books; and the first or second... What you've called the next level is the proper Spanish, the kind you use for interviews, job interviews, formal situations, or situations where you need to express yourself well. It's written and pronounced correctly. This is where the real adventure of learning good Spanish begins. Your conditions for learning good Spanish are like building a house with strong walls; it will be a good house. But if you build a flimsy, weak Spanish without a good structure, you'll learn the Spanish, but you won't build a good house. It could collapse at any moment. This reminds me of what a student told me: "Practice makes perfect." The truth is, that's not true; it's a lie. I'll explain why later, but basically, what you need to learn is vocabulary—the three basic vocabularies, besides communication vocabulary, are technical vocabulary. And among these technical vocabularyes, we have differences between standard Spanish, slang, double entendres, and subtext. When you speak messages, and the other one, which is in literary Spanish, what are you going to say? What's the point of that? Well, what's it good for? Because literary Spanish is the foundation of all of that. So, Spanish isn't just built with adjectives and nouns and rules. You don't have to learn what a nopal means, what a tamale, a taco, a tequila, a mezcal, a mole, or rice means. All that if you've never enjoyed it, never experienced it, then yes, you have to learn it because it's part of something you taste it, touch it, smell it, seebit, feebitl. You touch it with your palate, you feel it with your palate, you smell it with your nose, you see it with your eyes, you hear it with your ears, you touch it with your hands, you feel it, you live it, you experience it. Well, you're never going to forget it. So, it's the basic part of Spanish.
