The Primary Mission of the Trade School at Roca Blanca is to equip the Bible student, over a 3-year period, with the necessary vocational classroom knowledge & hands-on training to create sustainability in their field of calling. Sustainable Development thru Roca Blanca Mission Base
Our Vision – to have a skilled and productive Oaxacan society, with jobs and businesses that generate a sustainable
development, and create opportunities for future generations. Our Mission – to be the instrument that facilitates the training and allocation of resources required by the trainees of RBTS, in order to achieve their sustainable development.
2. To this date, two out of three Oaxacans, that is, 66.4% of the population, is living in extreme poverty conditions, with limited opportunities for jobs and businesses. The municipality of San Simon Zahuatlan in the Mixtec region of Oaxaca is the poorest municipality in Mexico. The State of Oaxaca is one of the 32 States (including Mexico City) that forms the federal entities of Mexico. It is located in the southeast of the country. It borders the north with Veracruz, to the northeast with Puebla, to the east with Chiapas, to the west the State of Guerrero and to the south with the Pacific Ocean, with an extension of almost 600 kilometers along the coast. Oaxaca has 570 municipalities (counties), almost three quarters of the total number of municipalities of all States of Mexico. Oaxaca is the State with the highest ethnic and linguistic diversity in Mexico. In the current territory of Oaxaca, there are 18 ethnic groups, out of a total of 65 found in Mexico. Oaxaca is a large state with a rugged natural landscape. Its population is highly dispersed, relative to other states in Mexico. The State is very indigenous: 58% of the population speaks an indigenous language, compared to a national average of 15%. The State of Oaxaca is divided into 8 regions: Papaloapan, Canada, Mixteca, Sierra Norte, Istmo, Valles Centrales, Sierra Sur and Costa, and each region is, in turn, divided into districts. The region known as Costa, where mission Victoria, A. (Roca Blanca Mission Base) is located and which is the one we look to assist, is divided into three districts: Jamiltepec, Juquila and Pochutla, which comprise a total of 50 municipalities. It has a surface area of 12,502 square kilometers, and borders to the west with the State of Guerrero and to the south with the Pacific Ocean, and to the east with the region of Istmo. The people living on the coast are of Mestizo and Afromestizo background, as well as Mixtec, Amuzgo, Chatino, and Zapotec natives. The Trade School project seeks to attack the extreme poverty in the communities of Oaxaca where Mission Victoria (Roca Blanca) has established and will establish local churches, though training and allocation of resources for the ex*****on of sustainable trades and businesses.
3. Beneficiaries
• The immediate beneficiaries will be the Christian believers that attend Victoria Bible School and CAMP students, as well as those receiving a loan for the implementation or ex*****on of a sustainable specific trade or business project.
• The final beneficiaries will be the Oaxacan society and those who have been successful and now voluntarily decide to donate their resources to help the poor and to please the Lord’s heart.
