BORN WITH LEGS JUST 5CM LONG, DAISY REFUSED TO LET HER DIFFERENCE DEFINE HER.
Little Daisy-Mae Demetre was born with rare fibular hemimelia, a condition that left some of the bones in her lower legs missing or severely shortened. At just 18 months old, she underwent major surgery and later began learning to walk with prosthetic legs. ❤️🩹
Growing up wasn't always easy. Daisy faced teasing and challenges at school, but she continued to grow into a cheerful, confident and remarkably independent little girl. 💪
