I have been having a lot of fun volunteering again at ITESA. I spent three days this week in level two and level four classes. I got to meet a LOT of new faces, as well as some I know from teaching there last year. I learned about a hundred new names, some of which I will not remember, but some of which I have memorized. Friday's conversation classes were about "would" "will" and " going to." Travel was a common topic for the student sentences, as were sports and pulque. I made sure everyone spoke, which was a bit of a challenge but there was a lot of enthusiasm and people helped each other. I was able to provoke the right responses so that I did not have to dispel the learning potential of letting the students come up with the correct answer. The regular teacher was happy with the results and I look forward to more hours on campus this upcoming week. I am also available to meet up off of campus, preferably in Apan, for anyone who is not an ITESA student.

Yesterday I met my first student over a glass of pulque. Today Oscar and I will be meeting at 4pm at Dogo Restaurant in Apan for an hour and a half of open English conversation. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome to. He is advanced, so there will be a high level of conversation.
