Mponda LEA School, Zomba

Hello good people.Great news. As part of our quest to help our school do some projects that will help in the running as well as some small items that the government may not be in a position to help with (things like sports equipment, e.t.c).

The biggest issue was the school fence, the school and its committee did their part and started with the front part (the one facing the road that goes to Chancol). The remaining part was costed at 3.5 Million Kwacha.

It is with great pleasure that we announce to you that one of Malawi's biggest mobile network TNM (Always With You) has approved to assist with the remaining part of the fence.

Lets thank them for the help. However, there is still more we can do as ana a zomba!

The hill where we played and had "ma battle a nthula"!

This page has been created to bring together all who have benefited from Mponda School and among other things, help our old school in any way we can.

If you are in Zomba lately you have seen kids have standing on the roadside asking for help to finish the brick wall separating the school from the road that goes to Chancellor college. The school committee and others have already built most of it and all we need to raise is MK 300,000 to finish it off.

Mponda was there for you, its one of the reasons you are where you are. Lets rally for the cause and finish the wall. It starts with YOU!
