The University of Malawi's School of Education is participating in a study on building resilient education systems in Africa, led by at Makerere University School of Public Health . The study covers 42 countries. Our Malawi team, led by Prof. Samson Macjessie-Mbewe, includes Louis Saddick, Dr. Foster Gondwe, Dr. Tiffany Banda, and Dr. Chimwemwe Chavinda, and will focus on Malawi, Mozambique, Comoros, and Madagascar.

This research aims to explore ways to make education systems more resilient to disruptions such as climate change, pandemics, and conflicts. We will share updates on our findings and insights as the project progresses.
