St Luke’s College of Health Sciences is pleased to announce names of successful candidates that have been selected to pursue a College Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Technician as well as a Certificate in Community Midwifery Programmes.

The training commences on 8th November 2021. Students are expected to arrive at the college on 7th November 2021. The first meal to be served will be supper.

The cost of the training (tuition, boarding, and lodging) is currently MK960,050.00 per annum plus other training-related costs that amount to MK138,600.00. Please note that there are no scholarships.

Fees should be paid using the following bank account: St Luke’s Nursing School HIPIC. Account number: 293741, National Bank, Zomba Branch. Students are required to make first payment instalments of not less than MK480.000.00 by Friday, the 5th of November, 2021 and bring along copies of deposit slips as evidence of payment. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the place offered. No cash payments will be accepted. Also, note that once paid, fees are non-refundable and a student cannot be registered if payment has not been made.

St Luke’s College of Health Sciences is currently inviting applications from prospective students to study various programs tenable at the college;

1. Nursing and Midwifery Technician (NMT) College Diploma 3 years – October 2021 intake.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The candidate should be sixteen (16) years and above but should not exceed the age of forty five (45) years b) The candidate must provide evidence of having passed the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with 4 credits including:

i) English
ii) Biology
iii)Physics or Chemistry or Physical Science
iv)Plus any one science subject (Mathematics, Agriculture, Geography, Home Economics)

FEES

A) TUITION AND FULL BOARD

Current fees for all Colleges are pegged at a minimum of MK 1, 200,000.00 per academic year with slight differences from college to college. Please note that there are no scholarships and that students will be expected to pay half of the fees once admitted into the college.

B) TUITION ONLY FOR NON RESIDENTIAL STUDENTS

Students may opt to stay off campus and pay tuition fees only. Details for non-residential student`s fees can be obtained from individual colleges whose contact details are provided below.

School fees which include accommodation, tuition and all training related costs are MK600, 000 per semester (6 months). Please note that there are no scholarships and that students will be expected to pay half of the fees once they have been admitted into the college.
