Today was a momentous day for Trinity College of Health Sciences as we celebrated the graduation π of 142 Nursing and Midwifery Technicians.
The Guest of Honor, His Lordship Bishop Peter Musikuwa, expressed gratitude to guardians and sponsors for their sacrifices in supporting the students to reach this milestone. He urged the graduates to remain dedicated to their calling of serving the vulnerable with compassion and dignity.
Board Chairperson, Associate Professor Ursula Kafulafula, challenged the graduates to embrace lifelong learning. She reminded them that true graduation is realized when they heal the sick, care for the vulnerable, and apply the scientific knowledge, skills, and competencies they have acquired.
College Principal, Mr. Godrick Chipondeponde, commended guardians and partners for believing in the studentsβ dreams. He shared the story of one student with excellent grades who was withdrawn from another college due to school fees, but found hope at Trinity through a scholarship.
In this Cohort, GAIA sponsored 20 students who graduated today, and also supported the recruitment of 2 full-time hospital-based preceptors and ICT services. Additional scholarships were provided by CAMFED and Medic 2 Medic.
Congratulations to April 2023 cohort. Go and represent us well ππ
