Hell parents,
We are now in the 4th week of the 1st term, children are settling down and the crying has relatively declined. Academically this is what we are doing at present
Class 1 toddlers class
Shapes and colors recognition
Learning how to hold a crayon and using it for coloring.
Class 2
For children who are 3 years old, Learning to trace/write their names
Alphabet tracing and writing
Alphabet sounds
Number tracing and writing
Activities to strengthen their fine motor skills in preparation for writing
Class 3
Level 1
Alphabet recognition and their sounds
Number recognition 1 to 50.
Writing Alphabet letters and numbers
Counting 1 to 50.

Level 2
Building words using letter sounds
Building and reading 3 letter words
Level 1 sight words/high frequency words
Writing their names
Activities to strengthen their fine motor skills in preparation for writing

WELCOME TO STEM PRESCHOOL FAMILY

Dear parents,
Welcome back to another exciting year of learning, growing and discovering together. Whether you're returning families or joining us for the first time we are thrilled to have you as part of STEM family. Our dedicated team of teachers are excited to get to know each child and work together to support their individual growth and development throughout the year.
Reminders;
Drop off time 7 to 8.30 AM
Pick up time 3 to 4pm
Children showing the following symptoms should be kept at home;
Children with a high fever, and Vomiting
Persistent coughing, with running nose
Unexplained rash,
Red oozing eyes,

WHAT TO BRING;
Lunch and snack,
blanket for naptime,
Extra change clothes
3 tissue papers (for the new families we use tissue papers to clean up whenever a child vomits)

What to leave at home,
Toys from home
Money or any valuable items

Good evening parents, this term ends next week. The last day for children will be Thursday December 19th, on this day we shall have a half day.
On Monday December 16th we shall have show and tell for class 1.
On Tuesday December 17th shall have show and tell for class 2.
And on Wednesday December 18th will be show and tell for class 3.
Show and tell means that children can bring a favorite toy to school and they will talk about it in front of the class. With some questions prompted by the teachers.
This helps to build self confidence in the children and also encourages self expression.

Good evening parents. We are now in our 5th week of the term and this is what we're doing with children.
Class 1, the toddlers in this class are learning

*Sharing and taking turns
Class 2, all those who are 3years old,
* Tracing their names
* alphabet letters identification and tracing,
* Shapes and colors
* Toilet training for those not trained
* Strengthening their fine motor skills for writing readiness.

* Writing their names
* Alphabet and number identification
* writing alphabets and numbers
* Rhyming words, sight words, word families
* If you want more clarification please you are welcome to come and see us at the office
* We shall have one week midterm holiday from October 28th to November 2nd 2024. Blessed night everyone

Good morning parents, this is just to remind you that the last day of this term and academic year as well will be Thursday July 25 2024. On Thursday we will observe a half day, pick up time will be 12 noon.

Good evening parents the program on Thursday will commence at 9 am exactly. The program lasts approximately 1hour 30 minutes. We hope by 10.30 it will be over, since our lunch time is at 11am. Please parents be punctual because we don't want you to miss out your baby's performance. Thank you and goodnight

Good evening parents, just to remind you that the last day of class for this term will be Thursday 25th July, 2024 because on the 26th the staff will be busy cleaning up the classes.
Summer program begins on Monday August 5th and runs up to 22nd August 2024, & fees will be k25,000 for that period. This is optional for the parents who need daycare services since the school holidays are going to be long.
On Thursday July 18th, we are going to have end of school year celebration on the school grounds. On this day, the children want to show you parents what they have been learning and their favorite activities. Details will be communicated later about this day. Thank you and have a blessed day 🙏

Good evening parents, this is how the schedule of the rest of the third term will be like.
Midterm break will be from June 10th to June 14th 2024.
End of year celebration will take place on July 18th 2024, the same day will be graduation day for our students who are moving on.
July 26th will be end of third term and this academic year 23/24.
Summer program will run from August 5th to August 23rd 2023. The summer program is optional for those parents who need daycare services during the long school holidays.
The opening date for first term of the of the 24/25 school year will be communicated later on. Thanking you and have a blessed night to everyone.
