Patience’s dream of becoming a Nurse and Midwifery Technician seemed impossible. However, her story took a turn when Citizen Impact Organization-CIO shared her plight through its educational philanthropy arm, CIO Educational Initiative. Through this initiative, we helped her find a sponsor. With the financial burden lifted, Patience dedicated herself to her studies, and today, she proudly stands as a qualified Nurse and Midwifery Technician.

“I just want to appreciate what God did for me through you... I am so grateful for the good work in my life. May God continue using you to touch more lives,” said Patience in an appreciation message.

Patience is one of the many students who have benefited from this initiative. Stories like hers fuel our passion for creating positive change, and indeed, we'll continue our work of making quality education accessible to all.

Meet Iris Nyoka, a determined 19-year-old who has big dreams and a strong heart. She’s in her first year at Trinity College of Health Sciences, pursuing nursing and midwifery.

Iris has faced tough challenges, but she’s not giving up. She’s a fighter who knows how important school is and how helping each other matters.

She’s a single orphan without her biological father. Life is hard, and her mom doesn’t have enough money, especially with other four kids to take care of. Going to school is Iris’s way to have a better life, and she’s asking for your help.

Iris is asking kind people like you to help her. She needs school fees (K750,000 per semester) and daily expenses/needs. Next semester will commence on 18th October, 2023. Your help means a lot — it’s like a light of hope.

When you support Iris, you’re not just making her dreams come true. You’re also helping her community become better. With your help, Iris will be a nurse and help others in need.
